C63000 Alloy, C630 Nickel Aluminum Bronze Concast Metal

Aluminum is the main alloying metal added to copper in aluminum bronze alloys such as C63000, also known as C630. A variety of aluminum bronzes of differing compositions have found industrial use, with most ranging from 5.00 to 11.00 aluminum by weight, the remaining mass being copper. Other alloying elements such as iron, nickel, manganese, and silicon are also oftentimes added.

C63000 C63000 Aluminium Bronze AMS 4640

C63000 is the most commonly used grade of nickel aluminium bronze in America. It was designed as an equivalent to the European nickel aluminium bronzes and has been developed to become an aerospace material under the AMS4640 specifi ion. It combines high strength with toughness and has an excellent resistance to wear, shock and abrasion.
